      <image:title>Values - We support each other’s academic success</image:title>
<image:caption>MIT gives us an opportunity to learn amazing things and to study alongside incredible people. Making the most of it requires deep support and connection. Xi is full of people who not only help each other through academic rigors, but inspire each other to reach new heights.</image:caption>

<image:title>Values - We engage as members of a strong community</image:title>
<image:caption>Xi is more than just a place to live — it is a Home. We study together, eat together, play together, and work together both inside and outside of the house. We build ties that sustain us during our time at MIT and last for the rest of our lives. We become a part of a tradition that has already passed its centennial mark.</image:caption>

<image:title>Values - We improve Xi through service and leadership</image:title>
<image:caption>The residents of Xi are not just renters — we are the landlords, housekeepers, chefs, planners, stewards, wardens, and more. There are many jobs to do, and we step up to do them all. This strengthens bonds and builds us into mature adults, ready for the world.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Values - We try new things</image:title>
<image:caption>True creativity goes against convention. At Xi, we make a wide space to be unconventional. This is a place to experiment, learn, introspect, and grow as individuals. We are open-minded and excited to share in all of the things we learn about ourselves along the way.</image:caption>

<image:title>Values - We help each other reach our dreams</image:title>
<image:caption>We don’t have a formula for the “right” way to succeed at MIT. Each person has their own view of what they want to do and become. At Xi, we respect and support the passions and dreams of our fellows (as long as their dreams don’t involve burning the house down).</image:caption>

They like making a variety of things such as art, food, and friends! their peldge name comes from a variety of sources: they played an obsessive amount of ACNH during lockdown, have multiple collections of objects (such as rocks, Beanie Babies, and art supplies), and delight in inhabiting small spaces. one of their alternative peldge names was ankle biter and this will not be elaborated upon.</image:caption>

And yours! I love Xi because it's full of so many people who do so many different and amazing things. There's always something fascinating to talk to people about here!!! Additionally, Xi let me play the Talking Heads' "Once in a Lifetime" multiple times every dinner for a whole summer, and still are friends with me. I feel like that says something. Who it says something about is another matter entirely.</image:caption>

<image:caption>2025, course 6-3, she/her I’m definitely not the life of the party (and have absolutely no interest in being that person), but I can be found helping to pick up snacks and drinks for the party or listening to the life of the party entertain. Likes arts+crafts, bakes when overly free or overly stressed, uses too many parentheses, and is generally a quiet presence; enjoys being at Xi for the roof, the cats, and the people (ordering intentional). It’s also nice to have the option of painting stuff on the walls if I feel like it + I appreciate that I can experiment with the food I make, have dinner with people, and not spend absurd quantities of time cooking.</image:caption>
